Last Week of Class
I can honestly say I definately did not learn this much in my j-term class last year. I have came such a far way and learned so much about networking. I am sad to see this class end, and not ready for the semester to begin. PBandJterm has allowed to me to open up to new ideas and join several different networking sites. I am sad to admit that I have finally got the hang of twitter and am not a total Twitter hater.
I just wanted to blog about a couple of my favorite parts to PBandJterm. Firstly I wanted to mention how happy I am that I choose a J-term class that I know will benefit my future career choices. I have came along way from the first day of class and know that I will continue to use the resources and connections I have learned to better my future. I have already gained more knowledge about networking and how important your online personal brand is in three weeks than I have my entire life. I have become more confident when blogging and actually put meaning beind my work.
This week we had three guest speakers and I learned from each and every one of them. Jessica and Maddie are two young adults who not long ago were in my exact seat. I learned alot from both of these girls, I find them inspirational because they had no idea how to create a blog but they put their mind to it and succeeded with flying colors. Here is their blog!
One of my favorite blogs from City in a Jar is Date Night-Get dessert
A few of my favorite parts of this class were, learning how to Tweet although I did get frustrated at times. I have grown from that frustration and know I feel like I kinda know what I am doing. My friends still tease me and and tag me in tweets how I do not know how to tweet back, but I am determined to prove them wrong:) Re-Tweet: “danielllebrownDanielle Brown @TaylorHenke i don’t know if @KatharynHerman knows when someone tweets at her lol”
Little do they know I do know exactly how to use Twitter thanks to my PBandJterm class!
Here is a website that I came across earlier today that I LOVE LOVE LOVE: Ballerina Project
It is called the Ballerina Project, it is thousands of pictures of dancers posing in a dynamic area. All of these photos are created to be sold to emphasize the importance of the arts.

I have learned so much, before this class I did not know how to use a Twitter, WordPress, did not have a linkedIn page, google reader and many other new online networking groups. I am now much more aware of how important your online name is and how it can either make or break your future. I have always been aware of how your future boss and look youup online, however; from this class I am more confident about my online personal brand then ever. I hope to have a positive online brand and for future bosses to be pleased with my online exsistance.
